We head to the land to dance in ritual with community.

What is your relationship to the earth we live on, the fire that feeds us, the waters that flow within us, the air we breathe and the ether that connects everything? These elements make up our human experience and are a part of us, inside and out. We are interfacing with them everyday and yet perhaps take them for granted.

We will deepen our embodiment of how these elements are within us on beautiful land just ten minutes from the Yuba River. We will interface with the elements, giving to and receiving from the lands through community based living and creative altar making that accompany the 5Rhythms® dance practice.

We welcome you to join us for this rustic residential retreat where we will camp and cook together as a group. We will dance in a beautiful yurt with wood-sprung heated floors and beautiful windows that let in the natural light of the day and night.

Accommodations:

Sleeping arrangement is tent camping.  Tents not included. Bedding NOT provided.

There are six spot to sleep in the dance temple, just let us know. You will need to move your things for the dancing sessions. 

There are two tiny houses that are available for rent on the land. They both have a queen sized bed and could sleep two people. One is $200 for the three nights. The other (with a flushing toilet) will be $300. (BOTH ARE SOLD).

There is one bell tent available with a full sized bed. “Glamping” if you will. $150 for the weekend. (SOLD) 

If you are flying in and cannot bring everything, there may be accommodations for you. Please inquire. 

There are two outdoor showers with hot water. There is also a sauna and an outdoor bathtub. But showering will be limited. Clothing optional. 

Parking:

There is limited parking at the ranch.  We would love for people to carpool. There will be on site parking guides; please face car in direction of leaving, in case of an emergency. We will leave together on Saturday morning for a water ritual, otherwise we do not want people coming and going from the land. 

Food:

We are still determining what would be best for this group. It is dependent on how many participants and food needs. 

You will need to bring food to contribute to meals or feed yourself for a few meals. We will send details closer to the event. 

Light snacks will be available throughout the retreat time.  You are welcome to bring your own snacks.  You can bring a cooler with your items, but we may have to store it safely for bear awareness. Food allergies or food restrictions? Please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate.

We will have an outdoor kitchen for your use. You can heat up water. You will need to bring your own dishes and utensils.
